Do not send unnecessary personal details when correcting a simple identifier. Check whether the mistaken reference belongs to another purchase.
What should I check when changing marketing message preferences after a purchase?
Keep essential order contact details accurate while changing preferences. Ask which setting affects a specific unwanted category of messages.
